To "go the extra mile" means to make a special effort at something.
“go the extra mile”的意思是你在某件事上特别努力。
It can also mean to work very hard to reach a goal.
它也可以表示为了实现目标而努力工作。
Think of an athlete running an extra mile to train harder.
想像一下，一名运动员为了刻苦训练多跑一英里。
