那我们来看an occasion when you have to arrive early for an appointment,不就是你跟考官的两千块钱之约么……
I'd like to talk about my experience just now. When I got my IELTS Admission Ticket, it said, I should arrive at the test venue at least 30 minutes prior to the speaking test, because they will take my photo and collect my finger scan before the test. And my teacher warned me, the check-in will close 15 minutes prior to the scheduled interview time.
So, just to avoid being late, I booked a train ticket way earlier than I should have. You see, my test starts at XXX (临场发挥吧,实事求是), but when I arrived at the train station here, it was only XX (编的合理一点即可), so I just took my time and took a bus here. But it was still too early, when I got to the campus, I still needed to wait for about (30 minutes, one hour, your call).
I had nowhere to go but to wander around the campus, 'cause they didn't allow me to enter the building. They just asked me to wait for my turn. Fortunately, the weather today is pretty good, I just took a stroll outside, watching the world go by. And I saw a homeless cat earlier, which was so cute. I even bought it a sausage.
And finally, it was my turn. First, I stayed in the waiting room with other candidates, waiting for the teacher to take our pictures and stuff. And before I met you, I'd already sat in the chair for a while.
So you see, I'm really glad to finally meet you, 'cause I'd waited for quite a long time.
