3.Why people must have a future goal?

Candidate 1: As we know, the first step to success is to have a future goal. More and more people have goals because they're eager to(渴望) succeed. But why should people have it? In my opinion, a goal is motivation.Once a person has a goal, he always tries his best to achieve it. Besides, the way to success is always difficult, and the difficulties always make people disappointed. But when people think of goals, they'll be full of strength. A goal is direction. A goal is like a lighthouse(灯塔) and gives people direction. Most people can't succeed because they don't know what to do and how to do. But if they have goals, they won't wander (迷失方向)any more. A goal is hope. A goal can encourage people to persist in their dream and never give up.

Candidate 2: Everyone in the world, men and women, young and old, has his own future goal. A future goal may give us confidence and power to continue the hard work. Many famous people around the world had goals before they successed. For instance, Bill Gates, the richest guy in the world, used to have the goal of making the best personal computer in the world when he was young. He dropped out of college(辍学) in opposition to(与……相对) his parents' advice and then started a company with his friends. He kept on striving(奋斗) for and persisted in his goal and finally became successful. Great men always have their great goals and strive for that with great willpower(毅力).

Candidate 3: Everyone needs a future goal. A future goal is very important. It helps us to live a better life. With a future goal, we can know exactly what we want in the future, and how to make our own way. With a future goal in mind, we can realize our dreams quickly. What's more, if we have a future goal, we will always fell being encouraged and having something to pursue, which makes our life colorful and meaningful. If a person never gets a future goal, his life would be out of order and boring. Without a future goal, one may lose the passion for life, let alone being happy. So a future goal, one may lose the passion for the life, let alone(更别提) being happy. So a future goal is necessary. If we want to lead a happy life in the future, we need goals.

4. How to become a winner in life?

Candidate 1: In my opinion, the process of becoming a winner in life is a process that enables one to gradually find one's own place in life, to function properly and to perfect oneself continuously(持续不断地).
The first step is to get to know ourselves, in other words, to locate ourselves in life. If we do not know the route, we can not find the right way. When we find our strengths and weaknesses, then we know what we can do and what we can not do well. After we get ready, we can go on to the next step.
The second step is to function properly. Though no one can completely know himself or herself, what one has done in the first step does help. Everyone is a molecule(分子) in life. When you know where you are and what you should do, you can work, study and rest in the right way.
However, life is continuous. The first two steps should be repeated. Meanwhile, the society we are living in is developing rapidly, so we have to keep up with the development of society. We have to apply our own knowledge and experiences to practice and improve our skills, then we will be suitable for more positions and we can contribute more.
In a word, the way to be a winner in life is "to know", "to do" and "to perfect". These three steps must be combined in real practice.

Candidate 2: In my opinion, winning means winning over oneself. It does not necessarily mean being the best in a certain field. It means being the best one can be and better than one used to be. The process, rather the result, is important.
Timidity(胆怯) and laziness are people's greatest enemies. If one can overcome these weaknesses, he is a winner in life. People who have tried their best and made the greatest achievements in their careers can be considered winners.
Zhang Haidi is another good case in point(相关的). Not only had she overcome her own disease but also she had taken advantage of her knowledge in medicine to help others overcome their diseases. This kind of person can be called "a winner in life". They can never be defeated(打败) by difficulties in life, and always try tofind the beautiful aspects of life. A winner in life doesn't need to be a giant. What he or she needs is confidence in life. Those people who find life full of troublesome(麻烦的) trifles(琐事) will always be "losers in life"
