Mmmm right. You try to find out exactly what the other person wants and try to tell them what you want.
Yes that's right. When you've found out what each of you want, propose solutions.
Make suggestions in a nonthreatening way.
For example, if you disagree about a TV programme, suggest that you take turns to decide what to watch.
Then, choose a suggestion that you and the other person agree on.
If you're in a group, it's very important to make sure that everybody agrees.
