A Speech of Welcome

Dear Friends,

Welcome to our university.

It is a great pleasure to have all you distinguished guests here on our campus.

My name is Yang Lin, and I am the president of the Student Union.

I am glad to have the opportunity to show you around.

Now I would like to introduce the schedule for today.

You will be presented with a welcome ceremony at 8:30 a.m., and the visit starts half an hour after that.

According to the schedule, your visit includes the library, the gym, the physics laboratory, and the multi-media teaching building.

Somewhere between the visits, you will have a one-hour lunch break at our canteen, which depends on our actual progress.

The visit will approximately end at around 4: 00 p. m.

At 5: 00 p. m., you will attend a reception dinner organized by our university.

Among the places, the multi-media building deserves the best attention.

It is equipped with the advanced computer system and functions as the base for our experimental teaching research.
