1.scratch v.抓，搔：勾掉，划去，n.抓，搔;抓痕，搔痕

2.genuine adj.真正的，名副其实的：真诚的，坦率的：纯血统的

3.notion n．概念，观念；想法，见解；打算，意图
【记】词根记忆：not(知道)+ion(名词后缀)--了解的东西一观念

4.wit n.才智，机智;机智的人，才子
【例】I don't know wharl can do to keep our marriage together-I'm at my wits’end!

5.slack adj.松弛的，没拉紧的：萧条的；清淡的

【用】descend表下落时有一定倾斜度，并非垂直落下。固定搭配：①descend from（从…下来；是…的后裔，源于）；②descend on（突然袭击；突然拜访某人）。
【派】descendant[n.后裔，子孙 adj.下降的；派生的；（从祖先)传下的]；descent(n.下降，下倾；斜坡；血统；世袭，遗传；袭击；突然的访问)

7.pathetic adj.引起怜悯的，悲惨的；感伤的，感情（上）的；令人生厌的
【记】词根记忆：path(感情)+etic有感情的一引起怜悯的
