One of the things that I talk about in the book – I think it's such an important component of happiness, is spirituality.
我在书里谈到的一个问题是，我认为幸福的重要组成部分是精神性
Now the dictionary definition of spirituality is- one of the definitions is the real sense of significance of something. So if I see something as significant, as important, as meaningful, I'm having a spiritual experience engaging in it.
字典对精神性的定义是，其中一个定义是，对有重大意义的事情的感知。因此如果我发现一些极具意义、极其重要的东西、意义非凡的，我就对它有种精神性体验
So what is significant to me? What is important to me?
那什么对我意义重大呢？什么对我重要？

And the thing to keep in mind is that it doesn't matter what I choose, what direction I go in. If I choose something that is self-concordant, that is aligned with my personal goals and mission, I will lead a spiritual life.
要记住，选择什么、往哪个方向走并不重要。如果我选择的东西是自我和谐的，和我个人的目标和使命相符合，我就会过上精神性生活
In fact, an investment banker who goes into investment banking for the right reasons, because he/she cares about this work. Because they think it's important, because they enjoy it. Because they love dealing with numbers and having the adrenaline rush. And yes, they are people who truly enjoy it.
事实上，一个投资银行家从事投资银行业的最合适理由是因为他或她在乎这工作，因为他们认为这是重要的，因为他们乐在其中，因为他们喜欢和数字打交道、喜欢那种刺激感。没错，他们真的享受这工作
If they go in for the right reasons, they will lead a much more spiritual life than a monk who goes into the order for the wrong reasons.
如果他们是因合适的理由而去做这份工作，那他们就会比一个不虔诚的僧人有更好的精神生活
