When presidents embark on prestigious state visits abroad, in the past they were expected to leave their political disputes at home and put on a friendly face for n hosting them. But when President Trump arrived in London on Monday for a long-delayed state visit to Britain, he ignored both customs. Circling back to a long feud with Sadiq Khan, London's first Muslim mayor and a vocal critic of Trump, the president tweeted: "@SadiqKhan, who by all accounts has done a terrible job as Mayor of London, has been foolishly 'nasty' to the visiting President of the United States, by far the most important ally of the United Kingdom."
