Because we adapt. And it's a good thing when it comes to the negatives. It's not such a good thing when we take life for granted.

And the question we need to ask is: is it possible to have it all?

There's a story in the Jewish tradition about a man who is living in one of the shtetls, one of the villages in Eastern Europe.

And he really had it bad. I mean he was living in a tiny home with many kids, with a wife who was constantly nagging him. They were constantly fighting.

And they were really terrible.

And that man wanted to improve his law so he went to the rabbi and recounted him how terrible his life is. He said "look. We live in a small home. The kids are all over.
