which means "to be able to hold"

kronen means "to be able to" halten means "to hold"

and mas means "the mean"

所以连起来就是"能够保持平均的"

so "to be able to hold the mean"

"mas"的意思是"平均数"

so to keep your whole self in some kind of balance

也就是把你自己保持在一个平衡状态

Not to just be concerned with the honor

不要只是想着荣誉

Not just to be concerned with free-givingness,

不要只是想着无私奉献

but that somehow all these positive qualities

而是要把所有这些良好品质

have to be in some balance for you as a person,

在自身里平衡起来

as a knightly person, as a noble person
